Operations Manager

 

 

 

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Contributes to the delivery of service excellence to both internal and external customer groups;

  • Builds and maintains a positive work environment by actively driving employee initiatives aimed at enhancing engagement and satisfaction;

  • Manages operational activities to meet inventory and customer demand requirements;

  • Ensures staff are appropriately trained in emergency response, health and safety, and in the minimization of environmental impacts of District operational activities;

  • Develops annual expense and capital budgets and manages operational activities to control expenses incurred by operations in accordance with the operations budget expectations;

  • Identifies and recommends changes or improvements, where appropriate, that enhance quality, health, safety, and the efficiency of processes;

  • Ensures safety is the first priority and that all

activities are conducted in accordance with quality, health, safety and
environmental management system as well as corporate and local policies.

 

Technical Competencies: 

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment

  • Effective team leader possessing superior communication and people management skills

  • Sound computer skills in

the use of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Salary: $57,913.00 to $70,783.00 /year
